anticipation

 

    

Friday at dawn; there is no wind, it’s still, mostly overcast with a hint of sun just trying to peep through the gap in the horizon and a blanket of cloud, which stretches back to the west over the great dividing range. The ocean is rumbling loud enough to suggest there is some swell happening, so the anticipation high as I motor down the beach, but the scene is far from what is expected.
