Today's post is about a good mate of mine, Mick Matthews!Mick surfs at my local way more than anyone else and is probably the keenest surfer I know. He spends his non-surfing time tinkering around in his shaping shed making all sorts of weird and wonderful creations. He experiments with epoxy, timber veneers, balsa and some very funky resin tints.
His "day job" is making and fitting blinds, I reckon he took this up to keep everyone in the dark while he enjoys the early morning sessions to himself.
This bloke is either surfing or thinking about surfing 24/7 and anyone that does that can sit by my fire anytime they like.
